Line 1= 5 syllables
Line 2= 7 syllables
Line 3= 5 syllables

One lone hummingbird,
shivering. Searching
for a sign of spring.
Dinosaurs once ruled
the Earth as masters of all.
Today they are dust.
Bats sleep through the day
clinging to the roofs of caves.
They search food at night.
